If something on the platform doesn't feel right — a message, a listing, or a profile — here's how to flag it and what happens next.
I received a suspicious or inappropriate message — what do I do?
Use the report option on that message or conversation, and block the sender if you want to stop further contact — you don't need to wait for a resolution before blocking. Reports go to our team for review.
I think a job listing looks like a scam — how do I report it?
Use the "Report this job" button on the listing's own page — it's the fastest way, and it goes straight to our moderation team with your comment attached. If you can't find it or your concern isn't about a specific listing, contact support instead. Our team also reviews listings after they're published and can remove ones that violate the platform's guidelines.
What are common signs of a suspicious job post?
Be cautious of listings that ask for payment or personal financial details upfront, promise unusually high pay for minimal work, or push you to move the conversation off-platform immediately. When in doubt, keep early conversations inside the platform's messaging and report anything that feels off.
What happens after I submit a report?
It goes to our team's review queue, and we look into the account, message, or listing involved. We keep reports confidential and use them only to review the situation reported.
Can I report a profile I think is fake?
Contact support with the profile in question and why it looks suspicious, and our team will look into it.
Is reporting the same as blocking?
No — they're separate actions and you can do both at once. Reporting flags something for our team to review; blocking stops that account from contacting you further. Neither requires the other.
